Table Mountain forms a dramatic backdrop to what is claimed by many to be the most beautiful city in Africa. The views as you ascend are really quite breathtaking. This Mountain scenery contrasts sharply with the wonderful golden beaches and incredible landscape. The history of the city is as complex as that of the country, changing hands from the Dutch to the British in a seemingly endless tug of war.
