Paperwork: Citizens from the UK, Europe and the United States will need to obtain a visa before travel to Tanzania (Kuoni will arrange this for you).

Health: There are no longer any required vaccine injections, but doctors will recommend yellow fever, polio, typhoid hepatitis A and tetanus. Malaria is endemic in Tanzania and you should take adequate precautions. The only truly safe and 100% efficient way not to get infected is to avoid getting bitten - use repellents from dusk till dawn, cover up and use nets at night. You should also be very careful of waterborne diseases, only drink bottled water and be careful of heatstroke and sunburn. HIV is rampant in Africa. We recommend you check with your GP who will advise you of the up to date requirements.
