Moderate
These events require you to have a reasonable level of fitness enabling you to do 6-7 hours of walking or cycling each day. You will need to carry a small day pack with your personal belongings for the day, water and lunch.
Tough
These events will require a higher level of fitness than the moderate events as the terrain covered is more challenging . You will be expected to walk 6-7 hours per day and will gain more enjoyment from the trek by a higher level of training. Previous trek experience is helpful. You will need to carry a small day pack with your personal belongings for the day, water and lunch.
Extreme
Previous experience of trekking and a high level of fitness are recommended. You will need to have a strong sense of endurance and be prepared for long days. The terrain may be inaccessible/remote and you may be working at altitude. You will need to carry a small day pack with your personal belongings for the day, water and lunch.
