Sound Seekers
Introduction
Sound Seekers works in the poorest countries of the world to clear up ear disease, and provide screening of hearing loss amongst children, and hearing aids or referral to other services if needed. Support for the education of deaf children is a key aspect of our work. We also provide specialist training and equipment to hospitals and other organisations working with deaf people in the developing world. Meanwhile, our fleet of mobile ear-care, screening and treatment clinics provides vital services to people living in poverty in rural villages and shantytowns in Africa and India.
