Britain's favourite longhaul holiday company has been organising and operating charity challenge travel since 2000. The majority of our challenges are charity-specific, running with 10-50 participants, but we are now operating an increasing number of Open Challenges, perfect for smaller organisations, in which participants raise funds for any charity of their choice.
What is a Charity Specific Challenge?
On a Charity specific challenge, everyone will be raising money for the same cause. A representative from the charity will also accompany the trip, both as a support and to provide information about the charity.
These trips are a fantastic way to raise awareness of a cause and finding out the total amount raised by the group adds to that already incredible sense of acheivement! As a group, participants can make a real difference, often funding a specific project, equipment or essential support networks.
The Charity advertise the challenge (often on their website) setting their own minimum sponsorship levels and payment deadlines. They will also provide full details and support both before and during the challenge, sending participants the necessary registration pack and fundraising advice.
Kuoni are contracted by the charity to operate the challenge for them.
